This work was produced in Hsinchu, which was an important production area for Taiwan's glass industry in the past due to its rich natural gas and silica sand production areas. The production process of the work is completed with completely manual blowing and thermoforming techniques. The glass slurry is rolled from a blowpipe and then heated and shaped repeatedly with tweezers, newspapers, saws and other hand tools. This technology was first used by Japanese during the Japanese occupation. It was introduced by masters and passed down from old masters in Taiwan after decades of evolution. A piece of work takes dozens of minutes to make and a whole day to cool down, and the master sweats profusely in front of a kiln with a thousand-degree temperature. He bakes and sculpts it several times, which is comparable to the production speed of a machine every ten seconds. There is a huge gap. This reason is naturally reflected in the price.
