Cakes for delivery are secured with safety bubble wrap to minimize movement and deformation, thereby reducing the damage rate to the lowest possible level. 📌 Handling of Damaged Delivered Cakes 📌 1. During transit, the delivery vehicle will inevitably shake. Sometimes, poor road conditions can cause the fruit tart to shift 3-5cm sideways, resulting in minor side damage or dislodged decorations. If the main design is undamaged or only slightly affected, it is not covered by compensation for damage. 2. If the cake is severely damaged (e.g., completely mashed, misshapen, or unrecognizable), please take photos as evidence immediately (including a picture of the fruit tart inside the box) and contact us on the same day! If the damage is clearly due to human error during delivery, we will contact the delivery company immediately to resolve the issue. Please do not discard or consume the item before we have processed it! Retain the condition in which you received the item to prevent disputes with Black Cat. 3. Black Cat currently categorizes cakes as items for which they refuse compensation for shipping accidents. Black Cat has a disclaimer for cakes, and there is a 99% chance they will not compensate for cake damage. 4.
