Delivery cakes are secured with protective bubble wrap to minimize movement and deformation, reducing the rate of damage. 📌 Handling of Damaged Delivery Cakes📌 1. During vehicle transport, vibrations are inevitable. Sometimes, poor road conditions can cause the fruit tart to shift 3-5cm to the side, resulting in minor side damage or dislodged decorations. If the main design is undamaged or only slightly damaged, it is not eligible for damage compensation. 2. If the cake is severely damaged (e.g., completely mixed, misshapen, or unrecognizable), please take photos as evidence immediately (including a photo of the fruit tart inside the box) and contact us on the same day! If the damage is clearly due to negligence during transit, we will contact the delivery company immediately for resolution. Please do not discard or consume the item before we have processed it. Retain the condition in which you received it to avoid disputes with Black Cat. 3. Black Cat Express currently classifies cakes as items for which they refuse compensation for transit damage. Black Cat has a disclaimer for cakes and will almost never compensate for cake damage. 4. We will do our utmost to package and prevent "transit damage," but delivery inherently carries risks.
