Over time, with exposure to sunlight and moisture, the leather develops a beautiful patina, deepens in color, and acquires unique marks of use—a process often referred to as 'leather nurturing.' Leather de Home straps are meticulously hand-stitched using the traditional saddle stitch technique. Both the front and back are made with Italian vegetable-tanned leather, offering superior durability compared to machine stitching. Edges are carefully sanded from coarse to fine grit and then polished to a smooth, natural finish.
