รายละเอียดสินค้า

→ Product Introduction Wood firing is one of the oldest methods of ceramic production, primarily using wood as fuel. It requires four days of continuous firing to reach the target temperature. The ash and oils from the burning wood then form a unique, natural glaze on each piece – the so-called 'fallen ash' or 'natural ash glaze'. The artistic value of wood firing speaks for itself. The distinctive natural ash glaze ensures that no two pieces are ever exactly alike, making uniqueness its most revered quality. Thus, wood-fired creations best showcase the artist's personality and highlight the collector's discerning eye for art. Wood firing can be broadly categorized into unglazed and glazed firing. Unglazed ware is fired directly on the clay body without any glaze, revealing the most rustic texture of wood firing. Glazed ware, on the other hand, builds upon the natural ash glaze with the addition of various glazes, resulting in a dazzling array of finishes. Beyond its artistic merit, wood-fired ceramics possess a functional charm. During firing, the adherence of natural carbon elements makes wood-fired vessels ideal for boiling water or brewing tea, enhancing the sweetness and clarity of the beverage. This inherent quality elevates wood-fired pieces from mere objects of beauty to highly practical items. Therefore, a good wood-fired piece must be not only beautiful but also functional. Master Yeh meticulously adjusts each piece based on years of experience, ensuring that every item is both user-friendly and durable. → Product Specifications Wood-fired Teapot, Natural Ash Glaze, Purely Handmade Capacity: 250ml Dimensions: 8.5cm (L) x 14cm (W) x 9.5cm (H) → Purchase Notes *Most products in this design館 are purely handmade, and the glaze or ash glaze on each piece is unique, which is the charm of pottery. Therefore, once a piece is sold out, it will not be restocked, and an identical piece cannot be found. If a piece you like is purchased by someone else, we apologize, but you will have to choose another piece from our design館, or contact the designer to see if a similar piece is available. *Dimensions are measured by hand and may have an error of within 0.5cm. *Products may show some marks from the crafting process, as they are all handmade or semi-handmade. These are normal signs of the making process. *During the firing process, the glaze and ash may distribute naturally, which is normal and part of the beauty of natural glazes. If you have any questions about the product, please send us a private message. *The product photos were taken in a studio with adjusted lighting and environment, but no post-production editing was used. Please refer to the actual product for color accuracy, as variations will not be considered defects. → Artist Introduction Master Yeh Min-Hsiang Disciple of Professor Wu Yu-Tang ◎ Experience 1979: Kiln Department Manager, San Hsi Tang Ceramic Company 1986: Founder, Hsiang Yi Ceramic Studio 1993: Consultant, Chien Nien Art Ceramics Co., Ltd. 1998: Glaze Technical Advisor, Thailand Factory, Shin Chu Pottery Co., Ltd. 1998: Master Craftsman, Department of Pottery, Yingge Vocational High School 2001: Consultant, Shandong Factory, Chien Nien Art Ceramics Co., Ltd. 2002: Deputy General Manager, Jiaxing Quanyou Handicraft Products Co., Ltd. 2003: Production Manager, Shanghai Qidong Huatai Ceramic Products Co., Ltd. 2005: Glaze Technical Advisor, Malaysia Specialty Ceramics Company ◎ Exhibited Works 1995: Joint Exhibition of Professor Wu Yu-Tang and His Students 2010: Crystal Glaze Evaluation Exhibition, Taiwan Ceramic Museum (Title: Crystal Series Six-Color Cups) 2011: New Ceramic Product Evaluation Exhibition, Taiwan Ceramic Museum (Title: Sky Blue Ru Ware) 2011: Classic Ceramic Brand Exhibition, Taiwan Ceramic Museum (Title: Crystal Series Six-Color Cups) 2012: Golden Award for Pottery, Taiwan Ceramic Museum (Title: Happiness) 2012: Taiwan Excellent Handicraft Evaluation (Title: Happiness) 2012: Taiwan Life Craft Design Competition - Food Culture Creative Product (Title: Ru Ware with Abundance) 2013: Selected for Taiwan Excellent Handicrafts (Hsiang Yi Ceramic Studio) 2013: Yingge-Taiwan Brand Plan - Featured Tableware Evaluation Exhibition (Sky Blue - Lucky Tea Set) 2013: Yingge-Taiwan Brand Plan - Featured Tableware Evaluation Exhibition (Temmoku Iron Spot Glaze Bowl) 2013: Certificate of Taiwan Excellent Handicrafts Evaluation (Tea Flower Pattern Incense Plate) 2014: Taiwan Creative Life - New Ceramic Product Evaluation Exhibition (Curved Spout Teapot Tea Set) 2014: Yingge-Taiwan Brand Plan - Trademark Licensing Evaluation (Tea Flower Pattern Incense Plate) 2014: Yingge-Taiwan Brand Plan - Trademark Licensing Evaluation (Perfect Tea Set) 2014: Yingge-Taiwan Brand Plan - Trademark Licensing Evaluation (Tea Leaf Green Glazed Lid Cup) 2014: Top Ten Creative Souvenirs of New Taipei City, Taiwan - Creative Life Group Award (Happiness Tea Set) 2015: Yingge-Taiwan Brand Plan - Trademark Licensing Evaluation (Elegant Pot) 2015: Yingge-Taiwan Brand Plan - Trademark Licensing Evaluation (Temmoku Cups - Golden, Red Gold, Green Gold, 3 types) 2015: Yingge-Taiwan Brand Plan - Trademark Licensing Evaluation (Happiness Tea Set) 2016: Top Ten Creative Souvenirs of New Taipei City, Taiwan - Creative Life Group Award (Lucky Tea Set) 2020: "2020 New Taipei City Featured Products Selection" - Nominated for "Good Living Items" with "Lid Bowl Tea Ware" 2021: Yingge-Taiwan Brand Plan - Trademark Licensing Evaluation (Natural Glaze Coffee Filter Cup) 2022: National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center - Taiwan Green Craft Selection (Natural Glaze Coffee Filter Cup) 2023: National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center - Taiwan Green Craft Selection (Maze Filter Cup) 2023: National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Center - Taiwan Green Craft Selection (Small Rim Cup) 2025: "Things Have Their Place" - Life Ritual Exhibition (Natural Glaze Coffee Filter Cup) → Design Studio Story Located in Yingge, Taiwan, our ceramic studio is deeply rooted in Taiwan for both design and production, offering aesthetically pleasing and practical ceramic coffee ware.
