This obiage is reversible, with a slight color difference between the two sides as shown in Figure 2. Both ends of the obiage feature a wavy lace design. Beyond its function of concealing the obimakura (obi cushion), arranging the final knot and placing it at the front of the obi adds a touch of romantic elegance. It pairs beautifully with casual wear, tsukesage, houmongi, and even furisode kimonos.
