**◈ A Word from the Designer**
Carefully selected top-grade obsidian (wisdom, confidence) and blue chalcedony (fortune, peace), accented with auspicious enamel charms (clover, butterfly).
The obsidian boasts an icy blue hue with intense luster, free of inclusions or clouds, possessing a mysterious and beautiful devilish blue tone, presenting as grand and exquisite.
The main blue chalcedony pendant exudes a serene blue, pure and translucent, complemented by the golden hues and blue tones of the enamel, harmonizing with the two gemstones. The overall piece is magnificent, opulent, and exceptionally striking.
**This is a one-of-a-kind piece, awaiting its extraordinary owner ^^**
**Obsidian**
Obsidian is a non-crystalline gemstone formed from rapidly cooled volcanic lava, primarily composed of silica, sharing the same material as glass. It has a Mohs hardness of 5.5 and is also known as volcanic glass.
The high-chroma icy blue color of obsidian is due to the influence of iron and titanium elements within its crystalline structure.
Due to its formation process, obsidian often coexists with natural volcanic ash, forming white, thread-like or misty inclusions that resemble clouds. These possess a unique charm, distinct from the cloudless, sky-blue obsidian.
**Blue Chalcedony**
Blue Chalcedony is considered one of the oldest gemstones in history, traditionally viewed as a "stone of protection" to ward off nightmares, stress, and fatigue.
Found along the East Coast Mountain Range of Taiwan, Taiwanese blue chalcedony is also known as "Taiwan Blue Gem."
The primary component of blue chalcedony is silica, containing chrysocolla. The presence of small amounts of copper gives it its characteristic ocean blue, sky blue, or blue-green hues.
Blue chalcedony radiates a tranquil blue-to-green hue, bestowing a sense of peace and serenity. It aids in cultivating elegance, composure, patience, and fostering creativity.
**Cloisonné (Filigree Enamel, Burned Blue)**
Cloisonné, scientifically known as copper-chased enamel, originated in the ancient Near East. As early as the 19th century BC, ancient Egyptian pharaohs used this technique to create necklaces, often inlaid with gemstones. The Eastern Roman Empire later elevated this craft to a remarkable level. It was introduced to China during the Yuan Dynasty and reached its zenith during the Jingtai reign of the Ming Dynasty, hence its name "Jingtai Blue."
Exquisite cloisonné pieces feature lustrous and vibrant colors, with a substantial and solid core. The filigree is neat and even, and the gilding is brilliant and lustrous, embodying the warmth of jade, the radiance of jewels, and the delicacy of porcelain. Consequently, the cloisonné process is complex and costly.

**◈ On Usage and Care**
1. Natural gemstones possess natural luster and unique textures (e.g., tiny black spots, internal lines, frost cracks, cloudiness, mineral inclusions, asymmetry). Frequent wear can lead to subtle color changes, often becoming more translucent and captivating – this is also the best form of care.
Natural organic gemstones (such as coral, amber, pearls, giant clams) have low hardness and are sensitive to acids and alkalis. If stained, avoid using detergents; clean with clean water and wipe with a soft cloth. You can also lightly brush with a soft brush dipped in a small amount of mineral oil (like baby oil) for maintenance.
2. Metal jewelry has a long lifespan, but avoid external damage or exposure to strong acids and alkalis that may cause fading.
3. Fabric materials (ribbons, cotton, gauze) are soft and comfortable to the touch and have a long lifespan, but avoid high temperatures, external damage, or exposure to strong acids and alkalis that may cause fading.
4. For jewelry of any material, when stained, wipe with a soft cloth dipped in water as appropriate, or use a suitable amount of neutral detergent for suitable materials. After washing, ensure it is dried promptly.
5. When jewelry is removed, it should be properly packaged and stored to minimize exposure to air, slowing down oxidation and discoloration. Avoid stacking or placing heavy objects on it.
