Each stall had tulips of purple, pink, white, and orange for sale, which all went home with me to be joined in my flowering vase. Fortunately, once I uploaded an Instagram story of the flowers, a friend that operates a flower shop reminded me that tulips do not need too much water. It is best to only give a thin layer of water, for too much water causes the flowers to wither faster! Tulips are simply charming! There are so many colors, varieties, and they are very absorbent of liquids, meaning that you can dye white tulips blue, with the delicate texture which is exquisite! Then, with a very light ink, two or three layers of shadows are added. Finally another pigment is applied, giving it a multi-layer of colors! The meticulous painting is great putting on clear ( glossy ) PET.
