They feature a design of roses and forget-me-nots on a white, ceramic-like body. Further enhanced with gilded, raised trail decorations, these beads are exceptionally intricate. They are named for their resemblance to the fruit of the currant bush. As they are deadstock items, they have minimal scratches and are in excellent condition, with a faint pink hue. Their slightly matte texture and irregular shapes lend them the distinct character of antique pieces. The pink beads are referred to as "Pink Masai," a name derived from their popularity among the Masai people.
