This bracelet is crafted by connecting various elements including old Tibetan turquoise, ancient agate, deep red & gold-red white hearts, Mizoram carnelian, emerald blue beads, old Chin silver & Orissa brass, and jet black beads. The old Tibetan turquoise dates back approximately 100 to 200 years, possibly even older. It was acquired from a collector who personally sourced it in Tibet. Turquoise is often referred to as a "Fallen Skystone" and has been revered as a protective amulet and sacred stone across various cultures since ancient times. In Tibet, it's used for protection and sometimes even medicinally, making it one of the stones passed down and worn for millennia. This is natural turquoise, without any coatings, possessing a captivating patina from age and use. (Turquoise dimensions: 1.2cm width, 1.1cm height, 0.55cm depth) We've incorporated lustrous, ancient agate beads with a white sheen. These were unearthed in the Indus River basin, spanning regions like Pakistan and India, and are approximately 2000 years old. They showcase beautiful banding and gentle gradations. The red beads are antique "white heart" beads, named for their white core. These are Venetian beads from around the 19th-20th century. The larger ones are a deep, weather-like red, while the subtler pink ones near the clasp are "gold-red" white hearts, colored with gold. Both are rare varieties of white heart beads. The emerald blue beads are antique "Indo-Pacific" beads, with origins tracing back to the 2nd century BCE. These particular beads are excavated artifacts from Indonesia, dating back an astonishing 1000 years to around the 10th century! The small orange beads are Mizoram carnelian, originating from the Mizoram state in eastern India, dating to around the 18th century. Their deep, ripe-orange hue is truly captivating. Despite minor imperfections, they possess a profound, aged charm. The multifaceted and vase-shaped silver beads, sandwiching the Mizoram carnelian and old Tibetan turquoise, are exceptionally rare old Chin silver. These are heirloom pieces from around the 18th-19th century, sourced from Burma. Used by Chin women in necklaces and other adornments, they bear unique signs of wear and endearing marks. Their substantial feel and presence are incomparable to modern silver, despite the appeal of contemporary pieces. These antique beads have seen a significant price increase in recent years. The golden beads and the fierce-looking charm next to the deep red white hearts are old Orissa brass beads from India. These antique brass beads are increasingly difficult to find and have become rare. The jet black beads are antique Venetian beads from the 19th-20th century. Each bead varies slightly in shape and size, contributing to their unique character. The plump charm near the clasp is old Indian silver, which will develop a beautiful patina and even more character with wear.
