From the Keeper of the Letters Without Addresses, Loucille ˸*⋆。✻*˸ꕤ*˸*⋆。✻ This is the piece that became the face of this exhibition. The theme of the solo exhibition is "Letters." She is the keeper of letters at a place where letters without addresses drift ashore. Actually, there's a hidden theme to this exhibition. It's "works I couldn't create for various reasons in the past" and "a retrospective of past solo exhibitions." Last autumn, I was working on a series themed around art, and there was a point where I agonized until the very last moment whether to make the art dealer I was creating into a girl in a black suit and monocle or a boy. I ultimately decided on a boy... That's how it happened. Since then, I had wanted to create a girl in a black suit and monocle if the opportunity arose, and this time, I was able to create her with great anticipation as the Keeper of the Letters. The completed Lucille actually has a few more frills on her dress compared to the photograph used for the exhibition announcement.
