Frequent touching can rub away sulfides, and the adhesion of human body oils will block air contact, thereby achieving an antioxidant effect and making the silverware shiny and moist.
● Stay away from chemicals
Hot spring or swimming pool chemicals can cause sulfide blackening or erosion.
● Isolate air
When not worn, store in a sealed bag to slow down oxidation.
● Avoid collisions
Do not place it with keys, watches, steel and other hard metals to avoid scratches caused by friction.
● Silver discoloration can be roughly divided into two situations:
1. Chemically reacts with sulfur in the air -
Wipe with Silver cloth. If there are lines or gaps, soak them in baking soda water, or use toothpaste or Silver washing water to clean them briefly.
2. Oil pollution in the environment -
Use a soft-bristled brush dipped in some dish soap and warm water to wash gently.
