Fish are flowing emotions. I explore my relationship with them. For the first time, I realized that the flow of emotions could transform into fish. The stronger the quality and temperature of those emotions, the larger the fish's form. When I close my eyes, they surround me. Desire—I reveal my desires without reservation. *** The Carp Trilogy is a self-healing creation. When emotions are filled with unease, that unease manifests as a colossal fish. At times, we gaze at each other, maintaining a distance; at others, we draw near, seeking reconciliation. To embrace the fish is to embrace one's own vulnerability.
