Valknut (pronounced "VAL-knoot") is one of the most discussed and at the same time mysterious symbols of Norse mythology. It appears on several rune stones and Viking-era memorial stones on the Swedish island of Gotland and on artifacts from the Oseberg barrow in Norway. The mystery of this symbol lies in its true meaning. Valknut is a temperate time name meaning "knot of the fallen in battle" and was introduced by Norwegians who lived long after the Viking Age.
For each new piece I carefully select wood from selected Karelian pine.
All the work is done 100% by hand.
Do not forget that each tree has its own unique pattern, which gives individuality to each new creation.
In my work I use only natural and organic materials.
The product is covered with beeswax and linseed oil, which helps to preserve the wood and protects it from moisture.
The accessories used for the photo, such as candles, figurines, skulls, skins and so on are not for sale, they are just an entourage to create a broader image of the interior
