Compared to other wood types, beech's higher density and hardness make it ideal for pet furniture. Drawing inspiration from handcrafted wooden seating, we prioritize stability and durability while incorporating practicality and a modern aesthetic into our structural design. Each frame is finished with a transparent protective coating for moisture resistance, and fitted with rubber feet to be anti-slip, waterproof, and floor-scratch resistant, ensuring the main wooden frame is fully functional. https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/20170610-_9327-scaled.jpg https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/20170610-_9343-scaled.jpg https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/20170610-_9361-scaled.jpg **《Cover》 Woven from durable canvas - Available in "Half house cover" and "Whole house cover" designs** The Kangaroo Nest offers two cover styles: the first is the Whole house cover, and the second is the Half house cover. Both are installed after the main frame is assembled. Considering how pets use it, we chose a canvas with specific thickness and weave as the main material for the cover. It needs to be soft enough to conform to a pet's body, yet tough enough to withstand scratching, movement, and frequent washing and disassembly. __Half house cover__ Like a stargazing room, it features an open, spacious view and excellent ventilation, allowing pets who care about their owner's every move to keep their focus and attention on them. https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/20170610-8782.jpg __Whole house cover__ This acts as a little cave, providing a high degree of security. It gives pets a peaceful corner where they feel safe and undisturbed. The top level of the cover also provides a perfect spot for pets who love to observe from above. https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/106914224_253268812822812_8920125846859367536_n_1-1.jpg ========================================== "The two little ones at home take turns lounging on it" https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/53145700_812666665762722_186851564370001920_n-1-scaled.jpg https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/52985746_2294590934093423_5090335161216663552_n-1-scaled.jpg ========================================== **《Cover》 Refined design for utility and comfort** The design of the Kangaroo Nest cover aims to allow pets to enter and exit smoothly, while providing a comfortable, cradling curve. It is also designed so that when the pet lies down, their body is suspended by the cover without touching the ground. Balancing these three elements involved countless revisions and trials to finally find the perfect equilibrium. • A slightly angled design, higher in the front and lower in the back, that allows the pet's body to naturally settle into the nest. • Optimal height and cover tension for effortless entry and exit. • An arc that feels like being cradled in hands, ensuring comfort in any position. https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/2-271-_-_-scaled.jpg **《Cover》 Reinforced webbing and double-stitched openings - Durable and capable of supporting significant weight** To ensure the cover stands up to long-term use, the sewing method is just as important as the material. We added a layer of reinforcing webbing around the edges, creating a cross-woven effect that prevents the fabric from deforming under long-term tension. We also added a second layer of webbing at the openings, the areas most prone to strain, reinforced with diagonal stitching. These enhancements significantly increase overall durability. https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/sawing-plue-Small.png **《Cover》 Quick and easy to remove; machine washable** The most important aspect of a pet cover is the ability to clean it regularly. We designed it for quick installation and replacement. The Kangaroo Nest uses a unique wooden dowel fixation method. Though simple, it achieves the pinnacle of convenience and stability. This method eliminates the need for any metal hardware on the cover, allowing the entire cover to be removed and tossed directly into the washing machine. https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/%E5%85%A8%E5%B1%8B%E5%AE%89%E8%A3%9D_%E7%84%A1%E5%AD%97%E5%B9%95.gif ========================================== "The little one chooses the Kangaroo Nest over the sofa because it offers a sense of security in its hiding spot" https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/S__16597122-1.jpg ========================================== **《Wooden Frame》 Quick, intuitive assembly that saves you the sigh** From the very beginning, we considered ease of storage and rapid assembly. The Kangaroo Nest wooden frame is designed with only four main parts and utilizes metal hardware capable of repeated assembly and long-term stability. To assemble, simply insert the positioning dowels of the crossbars into the side frame and tighten the screws. Assembly is completed in a flash. https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/assemble.gif **《Kangaroo Nest》 Suitable pet sizes** The Kangaroo Nest is suitable for small to medium-sized cats and dogs with a body length under 65cm and a height under 50cm. (Body length: The length from nose to tail-base when standing / Height: The height from the top of the forehead to the floor when standing) According to our tests, if your pet can fit inside the Kangaroo Nest, their weight is generally not an issue. For the cover, we recommend a maximum weight capacity of 50kg under normal pet usage. https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/masurement-v3.png ========================================== "The cat is true to his name; Boss loves the security of the Whole house cover, like a grand mansion" https://9housedesign.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/IMG_5136_ADMIN_Nov-03-114712-2019_Conflict-1.jpg ========================================== https://youtu.be/UG9iFXCArrQ
