On Sale / Nuance Blue Donburi Bowl with White Accent 3

*We are currently offering this item at a special sale price for inventory clearance. We would be delighted if you would consider it during this opportunity. This is a uniquely blended clay, offering a rustic and earthy texture characteristic of pottery clay. Shaped into a donburi bowl perfect for autumn and winter, it is finished with a calm, light blue glaze, accented with white glaze on the part where you hold it. It has a Japanese aesthetic while also being a vessel that allows you to enjoy its pop of cuteness. This donburi bowl has a slightly shallow and wide form. Its size is recommended for those who enjoy savoring each ingredient by dipping them in sauces like ponzu or sesame dressing. Of course, it's not just for hot pots; it's also suitable for dishes with delicious broths such as agedashi tofu or Jibuni, and for potage soups. You can also leverage its Japanese atmosphere to enjoy sweets like warabi mochi or shiratamadango. Please enjoy it with a variety of dishes. All stages of production, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, are done by hand, using a small electric kiln and electric potter's wheel set up in my home. While mass production is not possible, each piece has its own unique character, offering a charm that comes from being handmade. The item you receive will be the same as pictured. The bottom of the bowl will be sanded smooth to minimize any potential scratching of your table. I create various ceramic pieces in different colors and shapes, exploring the best combinations of glazes and clays. Each piece is unique, and while they may appear similar, no two are exactly alike. I would be truly delighted if you could find a favorite among them. I hope you can enjoy the comforting atmosphere woven by the pottery clay and glaze as a touch of color in your daily life. ーーーーー *Size and Weight* Size: Diameter 12.3cm (excluding handle) Base diameter 5cm Height 5cm Weight: 231g ーーーーー *Notes on Purchase and Use* - Due to the porous nature of pottery, it may absorb water, and in some cases, colors may seep into crazing or moisture may seep out.
