European leather generally has fewer scars and blemishes on its surface, making it superior to American leather, and is also typically more expensive. • Genuine leather, much like human skin, may inevitably have scars or natural growth lines. We will do our best to avoid these during production. │ Leather Characteristics │ • Slight variations in color depth between batches are natural. Vegetable-tanned leather also deepens in color with frequent use, gradually becoming a caramel hue over time. • Natural leather surfaces have pores, similar to human skin, which can absorb water. Faint watermarks may appear after air-drying, which is a natural occurrence. The piece will be finished with maintenance oil to reduce the impact of moisture or stains. • Avoid soaking the leather in water. If it accidentally gets wet, place it in a well-ventilated area to air dry, and do not expose it to direct sunlight. • Light surface dirt can be gently wiped with a clean cotton cloth. Deep oil stains are difficult to remove; they will become less noticeable over time, so please use with care! And approach these marks with a relaxed attitude. │ Leather Dyeing │ • The series retains the brushstroke texture of hand-dyeing. Through repeated color testing, we have achieved our most satisfactory shades and color ratios, making each item unique. • Dyed products will not fade with unintentional friction, but the characteristic of vegetable-tanned cowhide is that its color saturation will decrease over time. • Undyed leather is close to beige and will deepen in color and show more markings depending on individual usage and habits, much like a diary recording our life's story. │ Leather Care │ • Frequent use is the best form of care, allowing the natural oils from your hands to nourish the leather. If the edges feel dry, you can apply leather maintenance oil. • When storing, place in a dry location.
