The name of Taiwanese Cochin Pottery originated from Japan; the type, method, and use originated from China, and later independently developed into a colorful soft pottery art with Taiwanese characteristics. Jiaozhi pottery is a soft pottery with low-temperature colored glaze. Its origin can be traced back to Han green glaze, Tang Sancai, Song Liao and Jin three Color, Yuan glassware and Ming and Qing plain three-color, mainly use low-temperature lead glaze as the main fired glaze, plus firing technology and glaze color development, from the early single-color, three-color, five-color development to today's Colorful cochin pottery.
