Common Name: Air Plant - Whirlwind Wood-Stemmed Air Plant Scientific Name: Tillandsia flexuosa 'Vivipara' The Whirlwind Wood-Stemmed Air Plant is a medium-sized variety with silvery-white leaves that reveal faint zebra stripes upon closer inspection, making it a particularly engaging air plant. In environments with ample sunlight, its flower stalks will curl, and pups will emerge, creating a whirlwind-like posture. A distinctive feature of this variety is its propensity to produce flower stalks and numerous pups. When the mother plant is robust and in bloom, the abundance of pups is truly spectacular! Placed in a sunny spot, distinct zebra patterns will appear on its underside. |Watering| Winter: Infrequent watering (every 4 days to a week). Summer: Depends on ambient temperature (approximately once every 1-2 days). |Environment| Crucially, place in a well-ventilated area to allow excess moisture to dissipate after watering.
