However, most embroidered cloth patches require ironing to adhere and are used to decorate fabric materials or to mend holes in clothing. HiHiYo embroidered patches have an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing. They can be applied to smooth, non-fabric surfaces, making them ideal as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, luggage, and more. Create your unique style with these patches! 🏷 How do I use embroidered patches? Using HiHiYo embroidered patches is simple~ ▪️ Smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing is needed, and they won't fall off easily! ▪️ Fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a pressing cloth over the patch to protect the embroidery threads from high temperatures. Iron back and forth for 20-25 seconds. Allow it to cool and set firmly. For extra durability, reinforce with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing with a sewing machine or by hand will also secure the patch to fabric! 🏷 What if the fabric cannot be ironed or I'm unsure if it can be ironed? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabrics) or if you are unsure about ironing, it is recommended to secure the patch by sewing it on with a sewing machine or by hand to avoid damage from high temperatures. 🏷 How is the adhesion of the embroidered patches? Do they fall off easily? HiHiYo embroidered patches have sufficient adhesive backing and are not easily detached when applied to general smooth, non-fabric surfaces. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), please iron to secure and reinforce with sewing for increased durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches fall off after washing? Once ironed and reinforced with sewing, embroidered patches can be machine washed without easily detaching. It is recommended to wash them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive backing on embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. It is recommended to determine the desired placement before applying. If you remove the patch and wish to reuse it, the embroidered fabric can still be sewn onto fabric as a decoration! 🏷 Will there be any residue after removing the embroidered patches? The adhesive on embroidered patches is strong, and some residue may be left behind after removal. This residue can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Before cleaning, please check if your item's surface material is suitable for the remover to avoid damaging your belongings. Do not use a hairdryer to remove residue, as the adhesive on embroidered patches will melt with heat, becoming stickier and more difficult to remove!
