The jade is finely textured, exceptionally lustrous, and consistent in its '种水' (a measure of jade's translucency and texture). While it could have been split into two smaller pieces for greater profit, a personal decision was made to keep it whole, creating a more valuable, substantial "peace buckle." Photographed in natural light, never under jewelry lights, the actual color is very close to the images and will appear deeper in dimmer light.
