However, slight variations may occur due to different display screens. ・The glaze is food-safe and can be used with confidence. ✦ Care Instructions ・Before First Use We recommend placing the ceramic piece in a large pot, covering it with rice water, and simmering gently for 15-20 minutes. The starch in the rice water will fill the microscopic pores on the surface, enhancing its stain resistance. Allow it to cool naturally, then wash, dry, and air dry in a well-ventilated area before use. ・Daily Cleaning Ceramics have relatively high water absorption. It is advisable to wash the item promptly after use rather than leaving it to soak for extended periods. Clean as you would with other tableware, then dry thoroughly and air dry in a well-ventilated area. ・Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as rinsing with hot or cold water, as this may cause the ceramic to crack due to thermal shock. ✦ Brand Philosophy During a particularly exhausting time, I came across the Japanese phrase "ほっと一息つきませんか?", which translates to "Would you like to take a moment to relax?". It's often used in contexts like enjoying a cup of coffee, taking a short trip, or unwinding after completing work. Creating pottery offers a small space and time for respite amidst a busy life. Although pottery making is fraught with constant failures, having at least one thing you love to focus on wholeheartedly, pouring in much effort, can bring a sense of calm to both mind and body.
