Large old Dutch Delft Blue wall plate showing a newly-wed couple on a horse-drawn carriage. This piece was made by the famous Royal Sphinx ceramics factory in Maastricht. Petrus Regout founded this ceramics company, that would eventually become Royal Sphinx, in 1834, and it still produces high-quality ceramics to this day. The back of this plate has an old written sticker that says that this plate was gifted by someone's grandma and grandpa. This plate measures 40cm in diameter and is in good condition.
