Yunomi

This wheel thrown yunomi was made in my small workshop here in Taiwan. I used local Taiwanese clay and applied a shino glaze. While throwing the cup, I sliced a wooden tool across the wet clay to create some interest. I also squared off the drinking lip, again to add some originality. I love making teacups as each is different and they develop their own character as the clay spins around the wheel. Be the owner of a handmade yunomi made on the beautiful island of Taiwan.
