The story behind the three monkeys on these coasters comes from the proverbial "see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil." In Japan, they are also known as the "Genki San'en" or "Three Wise Monkeys." We've adorned them with a Taiyaki fish cake, symbolizing abundance, auspicious oranges, and their favorite bananas, covering their mouths and eyes. This serves as a gentle reminder for the new year to be mindful in our words and actions, while also infusing you with a burst of positive energy. Vibrant red and perfectly round, they bring good fortune and prosperity! Contents: One of each of the three designs, plus one packaging card. Coasters: 9.4cm perfect circle / Coaster paper (approx. 0.9mm thick) / Letterpress printing and hot foil stamping. Packaging Card: 9.8x9.8cm / Fashion Card (Grey) / Black and gold foil stamping. Front: Two-color printing (Order: Red, Gold foil) Back: Two-color printing (Order: Black, Red) - all three back designs are identical. Limited edition of 300 sets, each with a hand-numbered package.
