As it's woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, which can look like "fraying." While these are unavoidable with the use of antique machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through thorough factory inspections and careful fabric cutting. If found, they are placed in less conspicuous areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, complete elimination is not possible.
