Plant-Dyed Slim Organic Cotton Gauze Stole with Indigo and Three-Color Gradient

This is a slim, long stole made from organic cotton gauze, plant-dyed using fresh indigo leaves, marigold petals, and gardenia blue. Dimensions are approximately 45cm width x 190cm length (including 1cm fringe). Weight: 37g. Its slimmer width compared to our standard organic cotton gauze makes it versatile and easy for anyone to wear. Woven as Chita cotton, this piece is carefully hand-dyed using organic cotton in its natural, undyed state, the same kind used for baby products. The material, which becomes softer with each wash, has been dyed with care. The color yellow comes from marigold petals, while the center is a pale sky blue from fresh indigo leaves. The edges are dyed a deep blue using gardenia blue. Through a combination of cold and hot dyeing techniques, a cool, three-color gradient has been achieved. Though colored by plants and flowers, the shades evoke the frothy sea spray depicted in Ukiyo-e prints. The way the colors appear also changes depending on how it's folded. Despite the vibrant combination, the natural dyeing process results in an elegant finish. We aim for vibrant, healing colors that are relevant today, using traditional plant-dyeing methods. For the first one or two washes, or when lightly rinsed after sweating, simply rinse with water. The color will gradually settle. ◎ We recommend gentle hand-washing individually at home. ◎ Please avoid using washing machines, dryers, bleach, or detergents containing bleach. Use a small amount of neutral detergent (such as delicate fabric wash), and gently press and wash. Rinse lightly twice, remove excess water with a towel, and dry in the shade. (The entire process should take 2-3 minutes). Iron on a medium setting with a pressing cloth. ◎ Plant-dyed colors may gradually change over time due to prolonged exposure to sunlight, citrus juice, sweat, or natural aging. ◎ If stored folded in a bright place for extended periods, the folded areas may become sun-bleached. When not in use, please store in a box, drawer, or other location away from light. ◎ For long-term storage of "wool" and "silk" products, it is advisable to store them with desiccants and unscented insect repellents.
