A delicate bracelet featuring old Indian silver and ancient crystal, old Chin silver & Orissa brass, and indigo blue mixed antique beads.

This is a delicate bracelet, strung with old Indian silver, ancient crystal, old Chin silver & Orissa brass, and indigo blue mixed antique beads. The top charm is antique Indian silver, crafted between the 19th and early 20th centuries. We believe that with frequent wear, it will develop a unique sheen. The central motif depicts Bhumiyaji, a legendary hero from Rajasthan, India, depicted on horseback. Its teardrop shape creates a beautiful line when worn! (Size: 2cm height, 1.3cm width - including the loop.) The perfectly round ancient crystal originates from Pakistan and dates back to the Roman era, approximately 1500 years ago. While it bears some marks, these contribute to its profound character. (Ancient crystal size: 0.6cm width, 0.6cm diameter) The indigo blue and other beads are antique beads known as Indo-Pacific beads. The origins of Indo-Pacific beads are said to date back to the 2nd century BCE. These particular beads are excavated artifacts from Indonesia, dating back an astonishing 1000 years to around the 10th century! (It's becoming increasingly difficult to source this specific color...) The bell-like parts near the clasp are old silver from India, also rare components. The壺-shaped parts framing the old Indian silver at the top, the three-strand piece, and the faceted silver beads connected to the edge are old Chin silver, heirlooms from around the 18th-19th centuries, originating from Burma. These were used by Chin women in necklaces and display unique wear and endearing scratches. Their weight and presence are incomparable to modern silver (though some modern pieces are also striking...). These beads are truly rare and quite precious! The golden beads are old Orissa brass, ancient and rare beads from the state of Orissa, India. The charm on the clasp is also an old brass piece from India. Near the clasp, we've added amber-colored White Hearts. The slightly bent clasp and the beads on the loop are Karen silver. Each tiny Karen silver bead on the clasp is individually stamped! It's astonishing to think each one is done by hand... ◇ Karen Silver ◇ Silver crafted by a hill tribe living in Thailand and Burma. Each piece is handmade and said to have very high purity. Connected with waxed cord, it may feel a bit stiff at first but will become supple with wear. This is a bracelet crafted with careful attention to detail, where each material possesses its own distinct presence.
