From the Bagan region of Mandalay Province, Myanmar. A bronze Bhumisparsha Mudra Buddha unearthed from within a collapsed pagoda. Believed to be from before the 16th century... These small-sized Buddha statues, though unassuming, are remarkably ancient. Traditionally, pagodas were often consecrated with 108 statues, leading to a considerable number being found during excavations. The three-dimensional sculpting carries a stylistic resonance reminiscent of Tibetan bronze and meteorite iron craftsmanship. Paired with a stainless steel chain, it transforms into a portable amulet. Religious artifacts inherently possess blessings and radiate a unique energetic aura. They are also well-suited for display in homes or cars, serving as potent talismans for warding off evil and maintaining tranquility... The statue's exterior remains uncleaned, preserving its condition as found upon excavation. Crafted from bronze alloy. With intact earth patina.
