This results in a distinctive "lightness" and "softness." We value a relaxed, natural texture that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." As our fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, you may notice what are called "weaving flaws"—small imperfections that can sometimes look like "frays." These are unavoidable when using such vintage machinery. While we strive to minimize them through thorough inspections at the factory and careful fabric cutting, and by placing any found flaws in less visible areas, they cannot be entirely eliminated due to the nature of the machinery.
