This helps prevent brass from oxidizing and preserves the luster of natural stones, which can be affected by hot water, body wash, etc. ▴ When not wearing your jewelry, gently wipe it with a soft cloth to keep it dry and store it sealed in a ziplock bag. ▴ Our brass is not electroplated and will not fade; it can come into contact with water. However, keeping it dry is recommended to slow down oxidation. The color will transition from a bright gold to a antique bronze-brown. ▴ Lightly oxidized brass can be gently scrubbed with a toothbrush and water, or polished with a brass polishing cloth. For heavily oxidized pieces, brass polish can be purchased at a hardware store.
