As the fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, there are inevitably small "weaving imperfections" that may initially appear as "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of old machinery, we continuously strive to minimize them through thorough quality control at the factory and careful cutting of the fabric, using them in inconspicuous areas when found. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it is impossible to eliminate them entirely.
