Gold & White Hongkong Magnet Sign

For this design, we’ve chosen the Northern Wei typeface, a font that has witnessed the long and rich history of Hongkong. It was once the preferred choice for the signboards of Chinese businesses, the plaques of cultural institutions, and inscriptions on buildings from the 1940s to the 1970s. This set of #NorthernWeiTypeface was also the official font for the siege of #KowloonWalledCity. A people’s identity is not forged through force, but through a sense of belonging and freedom. Hongkong’s true beauty lies not in its blessed geography of mountains and seas, its efficient transportation system, or its stunning skyscrapers, but in its #HongkongPeople.
