This piece, however, is crafted using the international standard of 1/20 14K GF. This means that under high temperature and pressure, 14K gold is bonded to a base metal, making up 1/20th of its total weight. The thickness of the gold layer in gold-filled items can be over a thousand times that of regular gold plating.
