A bracelet connecting an endless knot with old Tibetan turquoise, Mizoram carnelian, Tuareg beads, Venetian antique beads, and more.
The endless knot is a motif from Tibetan Buddhism, symbolizing eternal connection.
The metal shows a cool wear and has an aged patina. While not extremely old, it has a slightly worn feel that lends it a wonderful atmosphere. Its intricate design features openwork.
This is a deadstock item that arrived from Tibet!
(Endless knot size: 1.1cm width, 0.9cm height)
The old Tibetan turquoise dates back approximately 100 to 200 years (perhaps even older). It was acquired from someone who had collected it in Tibet. Turquoise is also known as a "Fallen Skystone." Since ancient times, it has been used as an amulet and a sacred stone in various cultures. In Tibet, it has even been used medicinally. It is one of the stones that has been passed down and worn for thousands of years.
This is natural turquoise, without any coating.
Its soft mint green color is utterly charming!
(Turquoise size: 0.8cm width, 0.7cm height, 0.6cm thickness)
The orange beads are Mizoram carnelian, heirloom pieces from around the 18th century, originating from the Mizoram state in eastern India.
The color variations give them a wonderfully expressive character!
The multi-faceted beads, adorned with triangular and square patterns, are from the Tuareg people, a nomadic group of the Sahara Desert in Africa.
The red beads are Venetian antique beads known as White Hearts (19th-20th century). They are called this because of their white core.
These are a deep, blood-red hue.
Whether they were used or not, each White Heart bead has a beautifully worn texture, presenting a very cool, authentic expression!
The turquoise-green beads with striped patterns are chevron beads.
"Chevron" means "mountain shape" in English (and "Rosetta" in Italian). These beads are sometimes called the "nobility of beads" due to their value and significance.
These are smaller examples of chevron beads.
Turquoise blue chevron beads like these are rare and difficult to find!!
The white beads are Venetian antique beads (19th-20th century).
These were made in Venice and later found their way to Myanmar, making them heirloom pieces. They have an aged patina and a very pleasing atmosphere!
The small, anchor-like charm next to the dull golden beads and slightly larger golden-red White Hearts is old Orissan brass. These are old brass beads from the state of Orissa in India. They are very rare metal beads. The round charm near the clasp is also old brass from India.
The壺-shaped (pot-shaped) silver beads sandwiching the endless knot are extremely rare old Chin silver. These are heirloom pieces from around the 18th-19th century, originating from Burma. They were used by Chin women in necklaces and show unique wear and endearing marks.
Their weight and presence are incomparable to modern silver (though modern pieces can also be stylish...). These antique beads have seen further price increases in recent years.
The clasp is made of Karen silver. Each Karen silver bead is individually stamped!
It's mind-boggling to think each one is hand-engraved...
