/ Product description and story /
Every mountain and river has its own appearance.
Every Weaver Mother passes on a unique river texture to every transformed daughter.
Both the Ika river weave and the Ika key weave are traditional Dai weave patterns in Laos.
The river weave has winding V-shaped turning lines.
At the same time, the texture is like a maze but also like a key, with intricate back and forth right angles.
What is incredible is that these so-called "Ika weavings" do not start weaving patterns on the loom, but as early as when dyeing the threads, the white lines that want to appear are calculated and tied with barriers. Dye rope.
Each family has its own unique dyeing and weaving methods.
Thousands of daughters inherit the teachings from their mothers,
Then, through oneself, one can feel the earth, mountains and rivers of Tao,
Then change the dyeing and weaving into a new look.
My father and brothers would travel back and forth across the land,
Grow and collect dyeable plants,
Architecture and details of construction loom in bamboo or wood.
A thing of power accomplished by the parents of heaven and earth.
