Floating Silence – Soft Pastel Lily Pond Painting,

“Floating Silence” is an original soft pastel painting that captures a quiet lily pond suspended between reflection and atmosphere. The composition is semi-abstract, allowing forms to dissolve gently into color, light, and emotion. Water lilies appear as calm accents, floating in stillness rather than defined space. This artwork invites the viewer into a moment of pause — a visual breath of silence. ✦ Artistic Style & Inspiration Inspired by impressionist traditions and modern abstraction, this piece echoes the spirit of Monet’s water landscapes while remaining deeply personal and contemporary. Soft pastel layers create a velvety surface where subtle transitions of green, turquoise, blush, and misty grey evoke depth and tranquility.
