Upon receiving the mat, wipe it down with pure water wet wipes and then let it air dry. 2. The scent of a new mat will fade with increased practice frequency and cleaning. 3. Do not clean the mat with alcohol, as it will cause the mat to lose its grip. Simply wipe the mat with clean water. 4. Before practicing, it is recommended to gently pat your face with a tissue to absorb excess oil, preventing it from leaving marks. Also, avoid using lotions or oily products on your hands, feet, and face. 5. When storing, roll the mat with the colored side facing out and the black rubber side facing in. Do not roll it with the PU side facing inward to prevent irreversible creases and cracks on the PU surface. 6. For deep cleaning, you can dilute a small amount of dish soap or soapy water and gently wipe it with a sponge or soft cloth, then air dry. 7. During practice, some oil from your face will inevitably transfer to the mat. These oil marks will gradually fade over time. 8. As the bottom layer is natural rubber, which is biodegradable and naturally oxidizes, be sure to avoid direct sunlight or prolonged exposure outdoors. High temperatures and rain will accelerate the aging, brittleness, or damage of the rubber. 9. This is a normal physical change for this material and not indicative of poor quality. 3. With proper ventilation, care, and regular use, the mat can provide optimal grip and stable support for 1.5 to 2 years. When the surface grip naturally diminishes with age, it is recommended to replace your mat to ensure optimal practice safety.
