Chen Xuan-Heng is a Taiwanese ceramic artist renowned for his wood-fired pottery and his brand "Xuan Tea Ware." He founded the "Zhuo Yun Yue Heng Studio," dedicated to crafting handmade tea ware, vases, and incense holders.
Artistic Style and Philosophy
Chen Xuan-Heng's work emphasizes the natural flow of hand movements and brushstrokes, enhanced by diverse textures. The wood-firing process creates rich layers of ash glaze, showcasing a harmonious blend of nature and human artistry. His "Sea Rhyme Series" teacups are inspired by ocean waves, capturing their layered movement and dynamism.
Beyond ceramics, Chen Xuan-Heng is passionate about self-learning and playing the traditional Okinawan instrument, the "Sanshin." He frequently shares videos of himself singing and playing on social media, expressing his love for Okinawan music.

**Ceramic**
**Usage and Care Instructions**
**1. Not suitable for ovens, microwaves, or dishwashers.**
**2. Do not use steel wool or abrasive scrubbers to clean, as this may scratch the ceramic glaze. Please use a soft cloth or sponge brush.**
**1. Some items are hand-glazed, resulting in variations in glaze color due to the depth of the glaze material.**
**2. As some items are handmade, they may not have the uniform size of mass-produced items. Wood-fired pieces may occasionally show signs of glaze drips that have been polished. These will be clearly indicated in the product photos and descriptions. We kindly ask that those who seek absolute perfection refrain from purchasing, and instead consider ordering if you can appreciate and accept the unique characteristics of handmade items.**
**3. Due to the mineral content in ceramics, minor imperfections such as small pits, air bubbles, or small iron spot crystals may appear. These are natural phenomena resulting from firing at high temperatures.**
**4. Due to color variations in consumer 3C screens and natural changes during the firing process, there may be slight color differences between the products listed on this website and the actual items received. The color of the delivered item will be considered the primary reference.**
