Smena cameras were very popular in the Soviet Union, most of people were glad to see contrast and sharp images. Smena camera is much smaller than for example Zorki or Zenit and was very inexpensive in Soviet terms, about 1/10-1/20 of usual Soviet monthly wage. External rangefinder provided nice aid in using Smena cameras. ITEM'S CONDITION: EXCELLENT+ All functions are available, fine working condition, fine cosmetically. Distance metering looks correct. TECHNICAL FEATURES * Compact and light. * Distances on the scale in meters are: 1, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.5, 1.7, 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 8, 15, and "infinity". * Very nice plastic case with holes which allows to carry it on the camera's neck-strap. * Can be mounted on accessory shoe of the camera (intended for mounting to LOMO "Smena-8M" cameras). * Manufactured by LOMO plant at Leningrad city in the USSR in 1988.
