This process creates a fabric that is "light," "soft," and develops a "patina" rather than "deterioration," emphasizing a relaxed, natural aesthetic. As the fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving imperfections" may appear, which can look like minor "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of vintage machinery, we diligently inspect every piece at the factory. We also strive to avoid these imperfections during fabric cutting and, when unavoidable, place them in less conspicuous areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, eliminating them entirely is not possible.
