brief introduction
Tell children all over the world about Taiwan's story picture book
Picture books presented in three languages: "Taiwanese, English, and Chinese"
Voyages for love: Their little-known but profound stories
The Story of Eliza's Wife
Because of her, Taiwanese women have the opportunity to receive education.
Pastor Eliza's wife is the wife of Li Xun, the first pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan, the first female missionary teacher in Taiwan, and the founder of Taiwan's first girls' middle school. She advocated the liberation of footbinding and became a pioneer in the feminist movement in Taiwan.
The Story of Doctor Elizabeth Song
Because of her, Taiwanese women and children receive professional medical care.
Dr Elizabeth Song, was the first woman in Scotland to be awarded three medical degrees. After coming to Taiwan, she provided medical services to a large number of patients. Apart from not charging fees, she also won the trust of female patients. Later, he promoted the establishment of the first maternal and child hospital in Taiwan.
Voyages for love: Their little-known but profound stories
Two brave, confident and resolute women, Elisa and Elizabeth Song, traveled across the ocean to Taiwan at the end of the 19th century in order to spread the gospel of God. They overcame all kinds of difficulties and worked hard to make important construction and contributions to Taiwan's women's educational rights and medical care. Today, many Taiwanese still benefit from them. The story of two great women sailing for love and benefiting Taiwan should be widely known to Taiwanese.
|Features of this book|

|Feeling recommendation|
"Most of the Christian missionaries who came to Taiwan in the second half of the nineteenth century were Scots. Why? The author of this book wants to introduce the wives of these missionaries, and use the English version to tell the modern Sulange about the heroic deeds of her/their ancestors in Taiwan. This kind of mind and sentiment is noble, and the vision is unique. 』

Jenny Chen was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, and now lives in Scotland.
I like to travel and explore the history and culture of Taiwan and Scotland. As a woman of the Presbyterian Church, I look forward to writing a series of picture books featuring Scottish female missionaries to inspire many people with dreams, not to worry about gender or sexual orientation, and to pursue their dreams bravely.

Su Lingyi, a native of Tainan, Taiwan, often jokingly calls herself: "Tī Hoat-kok liû-lōng, tàm Pa-lê mî-sí-mî-nōa kan-na bē kóng Tâi-gí ê Hú-siâⁿ lâng."
I live in Paris and my heart is in Fucheng. I have wandered in Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Singapore. When I hear Wen Xia’s hometown in the evening, my nose will be sour. There is an old soul in Tainan’s daughter. Hope to regain the glory and culture belonging to Taiwanese again through the vernacular characters in Taiwanese.

An amateur writer who was born in Taipei, Taiwan and lives in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. Likes to cook and makes friends with food. In the process of studying plants, I suddenly discovered that the Royal Botanic Garden in Edinburgh has many unique species of Taiwan, such as Taiwan fir and red cypress. This unexpected discovery aroused interest in exploring the historical, cultural, scientific, and other connections between Taiwan and Scotland. I hope that one day I will be able to include "vernacular characters" as my main tool for exploring Taiwan's history and culture.
