Our Baker Boy hats feature reinforced lining in the brim and band, but unlike the plastic inserts found in mass-produced hats, we use a stiff lining. This choice serves two purposes: first, to maintain the integrity of the brim and the hat's shape, and second, to facilitate easy storage. Plastic pieces can snap if folded, whereas our lining offers a degree of flexibility for bending without breaking, preventing damage during storage. However, we advise against folding the brim to keep it flat.
