Raid on Taihoku

During the late period of World War II, Taiwan, then under Japanese rule, was bombarded by intensive United States’ air strikes. On 31 May 1945, more than a hundred Consolidated B-24 Liberator bombers of the U.S. Army Air Force were sent to raid Taipei, causing numerous casualties. With this historical background, our studio published the board game Raid on Taihoku in 2017. After three revisions, the Keelung Expansion - Conflagration is now released. Keelung, known as Kiirun during the Japanese Era, is a city north of Taipei. Kiirun Harbor was strategically critical because of its military use. In this game, players may choose to strive to live in Taihoku city, or to travel between the two cities and experience unprecedented hardship. Raid on Taihoku: Epic Collection brings you back to Taiwan in 1945. In this game, there is only one enemy: the cruelty of the war. This is a cooperative game with the background of Taiwan during World War II. All the players are in a family facing life and death situations together. If one family member dies, everyone loses. This game consists of Raid on Taihoku base game and the Keelung Expansion – Conflagration, adding new buildings and locations to the map, a new feature of expropriation for Air raid cards, new Entanglement cards for the characters, and a brand new game mode: the single-player survivor mode. Also, the game can now handle up to 6 players.
