Avoid contact with excessively humid or environments with extreme temperature fluctuations. Both temperature and humidity can accelerate the decomposition or oxidation of organic gemstones. Due to the hardness and formation of organic gemstones, please also avoid hot springs, hot baths, and products containing cleaning agents. Opal is a delicate gemstone that requires a bit of moisture for its upkeep. Therefore, a desiccant is not included in the storage pouch. Naturally, like other gemstones, it should not be worn while bathing or visiting hot springs. Do not use silver polishing cloths to clean opals; use a clean, dry, or slightly damp cloth. We will provide a jewelry polishing cloth. After wearing, gently wipe the ring clean and store it in the gemstone pouch. For all natural gemstone and metal jewelry, it is not recommended to wear them while visiting hot springs or bathing. Chemicals can easily cause chemical reactions with the jewelry. Avoid direct contact with perfumes, bleach, and do not store jewelry in the bathroom or kitchen, as this can accelerate product oxidation. When not wearing sterling silver or K gold jewelry, try to isolate it from moisture and air. Wipe it clean with a dry cloth or the provided polishing cloth, then store it in a PVC zip-lock bag. Each piece of jewelry should be stored separately to prevent scratches from collisions with other jewelry or hard objects. **About Opal** Color is a fundamental attribute of most gemstones. Each piece is unique, and most designs are one-of-a-kind. These stones are specially selected. We showcase their colors under different angles or lighting conditions for our clients. Natural stones will have internal impurities (inclusions), which are unavoidable. If this is a concern, we do not recommend purchasing.
