As the fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, which can look like "fraying" at first glance. These are unavoidable when using old machinery. While we conduct thorough inspections at the factory and make every effort to avoid these flaws when cutting the fabric, and use pieces with flaws in inconspicuous areas if found, they cannot be entirely eliminated due to the nature of the machinery.
