Hand-Painted Plate with Blue Flowers and a Small Bird 2

Ceramics, Handmade, Hand-painted, One-of-a-kind Diameter: 19.5cm, Height: 2cm This is a charmingly humorous decorative plate, rendered in a watercolor style, depicting a small white bird with black feathers resting on a black flower. Unlike the cool, smooth, and glossy finish of porcelain tableware, such as those from Arita-yaki, this piece is crafted using techniques that emphasize the warm, earthy feel of pottery ("Tsuchi-mono"). As such, you may notice subtle characteristics like small popped clay specks, pinholes in the glaze, or a slightly textured surface. These are not flaws but integral to the material's charm and do not affect its usability. We appreciate your understanding of these unique qualities. * Pottery ("Tsuchi-mono") possesses a soft and warm surface texture, distinct from porcelain. Minor imperfections such as pinholes (glaze voids) or small glaze chips, which do not compromise usability, may be present. These are considered inherent characteristics and part of the unique appeal of "Tsuchi-mono." It's a kind of imperfect beauty, a distinctive charm unique to pottery. Because it is pottery, the actual item may appear more rustic compared to its image online. However, this initial impression will naturally give way to a deeper appreciation for its true quality, texture, and simple charm as you become more familiar with it.
