Pottery wheel throwing is a craft honed through time and patience. This single-session pottery wheel experience class will guide students in using the potter's wheel to shape their creations. You'll explore fundamental techniques such as trimming and incising decorations, leading you to craft functional pieces like cups, bowls, plates, or vases for daily use. It's perfect for those who wish to enter a meditative spinning world and eagerly await hands covered in clay. For those keen on mastering pottery wheel techniques, subsequent enrollment in long-term courses is available.

[This fee includes glazing and firing for 2 pieces (for items with dimensions not exceeding 15cm in length, width, or height). An additional glazing and firing fee of NT.250 applies for each extra piece.]

**| Important Notes |**
*For both pottery wheel and hand-building classes, it is recommended to trim fingernails short to avoid obstructing shaping or scratching the clay body.
*After the pottery is shaped, it requires natural drying, bisque firing, glazing, and glaze firing. These processes are handled by the instructor and take approximately 4-6 weeks. You will be notified to collect your work at the studio. If shipping is required, postage will be charged separately. Items will be packed with protective materials like bubble wrap. A small packaging fee of NT.50 applies for smaller boxes. Please note that we are not responsible for any damage that may occur during transit.
*Students may choose from the studio's glaze colors, and the instructor will apply the glaze on their behalf.
*The kiln firing process involves many uncontrollable factors. Clay pieces made by beginners are particularly susceptible to imperfections. There is a risk of cracking or shattering during bisque and glaze firing, for which refunds cannot be issued.
**| Leave Policy |**
*Classes are by appointment only. For personal leave, please provide at least 1 day's notice. Make-up classes or transfers can be arranged within one month. No refunds will be issued for failure to comply with the policy.
*If a student cancels a class unexpectedly due to unforeseen circumstances, make-up classes or transfers can be arranged within 90 days.
*In the event of natural disasters or force majeure preventing attendance, students may opt for make-up classes or transfers at a later date. Full refunds are available for cancellations made in advance according to the policy.
