About the Work This page showcases an Atelier Llewellyn feather fascinator, created for an event client. The hat base was provided by the client. Based on the requested size, placement, and color palette, the design was developed into a mid-to-large feather ornament measuring approx. 40 cm in length. This piece explores a larger scale than the brand’s usual creations, highlighting the natural flow, movement, and presence of feathers. Although natural-colored feathers can be difficult to source, careful material selection and structural adjustments allowed the final design to achieve both drama and balance. Feather adornment has always been the starting point of Atelier Llewellyn, inspired by the aesthetics observed during the designer’s years in the UK, and reinterpreted through a contemporary and culturally sensitive lens in Taiwan.
