"Gentian" literally translates to "bitter," as its name suggests. It thrives in sunny, open areas above mid-to-high altitudes, on scree slopes or in forests. Blooming from April to September, gentians are highly sensitive to sunlight. When clouds gather and the weather shifts, their flowers close. According to Kawakami Takiya's specimen collection record from July 10, 1933, the location was Zhushan in the Alishan mountain range. However, the specimens were actually collected en route from Alishan to Yushan, and the plant is not distributed in Alishan itself. Stickers crafted from original hand-painted watercolor illustrations. Made with waterproof PVC material. The design features a layer of white ink, making the illustrated parts opaque.
