Crafted from fine-grained white clay that allows the glaze's color to truly shine. The glaze itself is a lustrous and charming light blue. All stages of production—from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing—are meticulously done by hand in my home studio, equipped with a small electric kiln and a potter's wheel. While mass production is not possible, each piece possesses its own unique character, offering the distinct charm that comes from handmade craftsmanship. The item you receive will be the exact one shown in the product images. To minimize any potential scratching to your table, the base of the bowl has been smoothed with sandpaper. I explore various glazes and clays, constantly seeking the best combinations to create ceramics in a wide range of colors and forms. To address this, we apply a waterproof treatment to all our tableware before shipping, so there is no need for initial soaking (medome). This waterproofing process requires 2-3 days, which is why we set the shipping period to 5 days from order placement. If you do not require the waterproofing treatment, please inform us at the time of purchase. - Cutlery shown in the product images is not included. - We strive to photograph and edit product images to be as true to the actual item as possible.
